Have you shot here before?

We get this question a lot, but the answer is, it doesn’t really matter. It’s true that when we’ve shot in a particular venue a lot we are already familiar with it’s best spots and how to best light and photograph the various locations within the venue. However, we have the skill and experience to quickly size up any new space and figure out how to best photograph it, so although it’s nice, being familiar with the venue in advance is not going to change the quality of your images. Plus, shooting in new locations has advantages too. It brings up opportunities for us to let our creativity flow which is exciting for us as artists. We are documenting your wedding day, but it’s also about subtly creating art through the beautiful representation of your day, so new spaces are a positive from a creative perspective. When we shoot in a new location we do our homework and scout it out in advance so, no worries, on your wedding day we will be both inspired and ready!
